Hello there! My name is Ivan Shah, and I'm a highly motivated and accomplished high school senior currently attending Dougherty Valley High School. I am truly passionate about the world of debate, and my dedication has led me to become a Varsity PF Debater, ranking in the top 0.7% nationwide. Sustainability and construction management are areas close to my heart, and I've had the honor of serving as the Vice President of our school's Speech & Debate program, where I coach and mentor middle school students, guiding them to victory in national Novice and JV tournaments.
Throughout my high school journey, I've been fortunate to achieve recognition for my hard work. I was awarded the VEX Robotics World Championship 2018 Excellence Award and have earned several NSDA Debate Accolades. Apart from excelling in debate and speech, I'm deeply committed to the Boy Scouts of America. I am currently working on my Eagle Project, which focuses on promoting conservation and sustainability to protect our valuable ecosystems.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I am a published researcher and author, and I'm always eager to share knowledge with others. As part of the FBLA-Phi Beta Lambda BOOST Program, I take great pride in mentoring and guiding middle school students, helping them make their way to the high school team and achieve their own success.
But my interests don't stop there! I co-chaired an innovative virtual startup hackathon called HackVenture and contributed to the development of DRWN Discovery 1.0, an AI-driven platform for lead molecule discovery. Additionally, as a content writer for Project Venture, I've had the opportunity to empower over 600 global members with valuable knowledge in financial literacy.
